The purpose of the Gold Hill Middle library is to help students develop critical thinking, problem-solving, communication skills, and an appreciation for reading as they use a variety of resources to meet the demands of today's curriculum.  We offer books and digital resources in our library collection as well as spaces for teaching, meetings, studying, reading, and small group work.

The mission of the Gold Hill Middle School Media Center to provide students with the opportunity to become not only lifelong users of information, but also creators of information. The library will support the curriculum by collaborating with teachers, developing a collection that is representative of the community, and implementing literacy instruction for students.

Book Dash 2023-2024.webm

Book Dash

Face to face students that would like a book between class visits, may put up to three books on hold, and the library staff will check them out to you, bring them to you, and collect the books you are finished reading.  View the video if you need help with Book Dash or putting a book on hold.

Students come to the media center every three weeks with their ELA class.  There is no limit to the amount of books they can check out at a time.  If students would like books between visits, they may use Book Dash (see above).   Library Checkout Schedule
